Years ago I slipped away into a vast darkness until nothing remained. The next day I opened my eyes as though I had been in a peaceful and deep meditation, no perception of time passing or usual senses reacting to wakefulness and remained that way for a day or so. The world was ultra vivid, peaceful and buzzing, I was attracted to the grass and sat in front of my home for some time taking in my environment.

If I tried to add more details it would be incomprehensible, and it is nearly so in memory. My head felt like it was filled with oatmeal for a week, and with the lack of mitigating evidence to warrant my survival to this day I am amazed to be alive. Also grateful, as I know now that I did not want to die. It was a form of communion for me, whatwith I do not entrust a name.

Regarding atheism, it depends what mood I'm in.

Atheists needn't reply.
Deep inside your mind, what do you think?
Isn't the God you believe in just a psychological aid?
A concept that you believe in so that you can do more, relax, focus,
and be confident?

If you think you know that there is a different God, tell me how did
you know him?
(If it's just because somebody else told you, tell me that. If it's
because somebody else told you what to do, and you did that and you
felt him, tell me that. If it's because one day God appeared in your
dream, tell me that.)

But do tell me how you know that God isn't just a concept
