yes brings back the idea i encountered somewhere... God is in our image... the image of man.... and so is evil that a man may commit..... as for the other thing... about the analogy.... there mught not be an explicit code about legal illegal in that primal society on that island... but ... they may may have an implicit understanding of what is legal and illegal... can any society.. if it be a society function without an understanding of what is allowed not allowed.... maybe THEIR environment plays a large part in shaping it... yes i think the NEXT step is actually realising that morals can be relative...society dependent... an individuals assesment can be formed according to the societies larger frame... even if it be in opposition to it... when something is strssed so much the alternative seems only too clear to some.... my interest is as Joel even touched upon... How alt sexuality is coming to be understood... i only dont understand what lead to its suppression and then re emergence .... because it has been there in ancient texts too.... likewise our feelings for rights of animals... oanother one of interest is Insanity... or mental 'illness'... i think there are many preconcieved notions about it.. and i dont know how they became concretised.... dont know where to start reading on it....
