hmm... sorry i cant help you there... i dont even remember the chapter and
it was a library book... all i remember is the thought that struck me.. and
of course i remember it was temples book... but i  guess youre right.. maybe
temples context could have been diff... maybe i forgot the original textual
meaning but hung on to what came to me.... but well what i posted here is
exactly what i wanted to post and meant... but if you should like to know
the original words of Temple.. then.. i think it was his book of Gifford
lectures ...long time back... maybe you can fish out the quote and
context...  and make a new post;-)...
