Thanks for that. Yours (and everyone's) efforts are greatly appreciated. I don't know yet whether I will upgrade at this time, but I might. I'm not facing any pressing issue, but I do like to keep up to date when I can do so conveniently. So I'd like to check a couple of things: Does this 4.7.1 release support std::thread? (I assume it does, but I'd like to confirm.) Does this release have the fix for the std::thread / static-linking issue? (I do recall you saying in an earlier post that this issue had been addressed, but again, I'd just like to double check.) Have you (or anyone) built Qt with this release? Any issues? (I did almost have a problem building Qt 4.8.0-rc1 with one of your 4.7.0 releases in that linking QtGuid4.dll almost ran out of memory.) Thanks for any pointers in advance. > ... > > Enjoy.
