Thank you and Alexey for help. Two questions for anyone:

1) I don't find /usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/ directory. Am I
supposed to
substitute something for "sys-root"? Anything wrong with my setup if no
sys-root directory?

$ pwd
/usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32
$ find . -name sys-root -print
$ ls
include  lib  libsrc
$ uname -a
Linux lark 2.6.32-21-generic-pae #32-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 16 09:39:35 UTC 2010
i686 i686
i686 GNU/Linux

*****************************************

2) /usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/include has 1,119 ".h" files. I take it I need to
more or less
manually install curses.h to the include directory (and add library file). Any
reason
curses.h is not routinely included as part of the distribution? It seems if
1,119 header
files, maybe curses might "make the grade"?

Thanks,
Daniel
