+1 Just because I'm a daily git user, and I'm having a hard time doing anything beyond a mere check-out in svn. Again and again :) Just this morning I was searching for a semi-official github clone of Mingw-w64 ... It obviously depends from what you know, but git really has established itself as 'the' versioning system in the open source world by now. Regards Kai PS: Maybe interesting: Why the ICU project won't move from svn to git any time soon: http://sourceforge.net/p/icu/mailman/message/31814825/ . It comes down to references to svn revisions all over the place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Accelerate Dev Cycles with Automated Cross-Browser Testing - For FREE Instantly run your Selenium tests across 300+ browser/OS combos.
