I Riccardo, I bricked my Letux 400 as well and I am no longer able to get it working.
F3 doesn't show up the recovery menu. The Fn+Ctrl+Left Shift as suggested in http://linuxlaptopforum.ark2webdesign.co.uk/index.php/topic,775.msg5353.html#msg5353 doesn't work as downloading: http://www.3mx-linux.co.uk//3mx/?dir=&download=Recovery_Retro.img hangs half way resulting in a timeout. I tried the installation of 2.6.24 but I always get a kernel panic with no init found message (http://projects.goldelico.com/p/letux-400/) I also tried: http://members.home.nl/janrinze/trendtac.html but the tendtac.nl site seems to be unreachable as well as the recovery image files? Is there a place where or a way for me to get the thing working again?
