I figured that out.

I know.

I did create the hashes manually analogue to the command in the stage
script (withlock LOCK-makehashes mb
makehashes -t /srv/hashes -b /srv/tdf/pub /srv/tdf/pub/libreoffice/iso/)

but they somehow are eaten by the cronjob creating hashes for the stage
area periodically.

+++++++Message in cron-mail: ++++++++++++
Recursively removing obsolete directory '/srv/hashes/libreoffice/iso'
Recursively removing hashes in database: libreoffice/iso/*
Unlinked 0 files, 1 directories.

What makes that directory "obsolete"?

I don't know where to look for that. The manually created hashes didn't
kill the ones of stage, which I would assume if the command did care not
to have any hashes out of the issued area.

I know but I want to test first and understand what I'm doing before
crowding mirrors with stuff. :o))
