Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. This hasn't solved the problem,
however... I'm still getting:
fatal: smtpd: bind: Cannot assign requested address

This is after changing to network-online.target and also adding in
Restart=always for good measure. I think my next step will be to enable
the systemd-networkd-wait-online.service to see if that makes a
difference, even though it's not an ideal solution. Hopefully I'll have
time to mess with that tonight.


Unless you use a service that actually provides it, a target will do absolutely nothing on its own. So how is using the proper things "not an ideal solution"?
