Are you sure it's not in sysutils/dmassage? It would seem you're trying to build your own stripped-down kernel. Doing that sort of thing is typically a "you break it, you get to keep the pieces" activity. While I do not know the reasons [1] you have for doing so, you may have better luck solving issues using config(8).
