Thanks Peter, I might be afraid that you are totally right the charger has been in charger mode for more than 24 hours without any success. I have even tried a couple of tricks from the thinkpad community like plug out the charger, remove battery and push the power button for at least 30 sec and then plug everything back - no success. - isak
