Peace,

Recently did a sysupgrade from 7.8 to 7.9. Tried to follow it up with pkg_add
-u for some x-based applications. After scrolling down 100's of lines listing
dependencies etc\. pkg_add invariably gets stuck at
...+yt-dlp-2026.03.17 (processing)

If I dont hit ^C it remains stuck at that point for several minutes and then
starts again as if it is in some kind of a loop, scrolling down hundreds of
lines before getting stuck again at

...+yt-dlp-2026.03.17 (processing)

Tried doing a pkg_add -u yt-dlp but that results in the same problem.

Did a pkg_check, which complained about some packages having too many
dependencies and asked if they should be deleted. After answering in the
affirmative, subsequent pkg_check s are all OK.

Switching mirrors doesn't help either.

Thanks and regards.
