I believe OpenBSD might need its own forum like FreeBSD to become more

I do not like the idea.
It would fragment the community more.
The mailing list already solves the same problem.
"more popular" is not a goal of OpenBSD.
It would take resources away from OpenBSD development.
If you want a BSD with a forum it sounds like you already found your
answer.
Thank you for saying everything I had intended to say myself. :)
IMHO it would simply muddy the waters. One "source of truth" says it all.
The archive is a treasure trove of knowledge and truth. Had I more time,
I could write several volumes of OpenBSD manuals from it. The archive is
in itself a complete OpenBSD reverence manual for all versions, past and
present.
I humbly vote no on a forum.
Thanks
