Thanks very much everybody for all the great help. I really appreciate it.
It is working now and just looks great. Not as fast as Hastymail with my 84
IMAP
folders and 160000+ messages but definitely nicer looking. So this email
message
is now coming through roundcube, thanks to all of your great advice!

Needless to say, the fault was mine. Somehow, instead of

DirectoryIndex index.html index.php

I had

DirectoryIndex index.html,index.php

in httpd.conf. I have a lot of web applications on this test server (syweb,
hastymail,
BASE, phpldapadmin, dspam-cgi, openwebmail, etc. etc.) and I must have
accidentally put
put in a comma between index.html and index.php at some point.

Thanks again to everyone,

Vijay
