Or I can continue to reload pf in /etc/rc.local like we currently do. No harm no foul. It's just not elegant. Sorry if you find my demeanor rude. I don't have a lot of patience for tangents when I'm asking a straightforward question and getting horizontal advice instead. New workarounds aren't necessarily better than existing workarounds.
