Just to let you and others know:
Building for Qt 4.7.3 did not help, however uninstalling the Bumblebee (and
the VirtualGL as part of Bumblebee) did. I think there is some another bug
in Qt which also causes the selection of the wrong X screen. Fortunately
MITK appears to be fast enough for my purposes without the
hardware acceleration on this machine.
