Dear James,

to clarify: there are multiple ways to build "MITK", controllable by
means of CMake switches. Enabling Qt is one of those options and the
current master branch will require Qt 4:
http://docs.mitk.org/nightly-qt4/BuildInstructionsPage.html

There is work in progress to support the usage of Qt5 in modules, i.e.
it enables you to build modules/classes based on Qt5:
http://bugs.mitk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16272

Currently there are no Qt5 modules except an early attempt to create a
QML render window. So if you want to create a new application with only
an experimental MITK render window in Qt5 QML, you may try the branch
associated to the bug above.

Regards,
Daniel
