Hi Agata, please keep the conversation to the list so that other MITK users can also take benefit from your question. I tried the surface to image functionality also with this version of MITK and for me it works. Could you please describe us the detailed steps you are performing? In my case the button for converting is never disabled if I have both image volume and surface mesh loaded.

I loaded any volume (mhd or vtk 3D image) . But I can not make conversion. It is not active this option "convert". I don't know, maybe I am doing something wrong ? This plugin has a view called "Segmentation Utilities"which allows you to write a surface into a binary image.
