Hi Félix,
I know that we used to have different shaders running in 2D and 3D. For
instance our diffusion team rendered fibers in 2D with a shader. Although there
have been recent changes in VTK regarding shaders and I am not sure if
everything is still running. In principle, however, your requested feature
should work.

Hi list,
I was digging in the MITK code and noted that the shader capability is never
used by the 3D mapper. Moreover, activating the shader in the 3D mapper seems
to apply the same "shader" node property used for 2D views. Do you guys have
any plans to be able to use two different shaders, one for 2D mappers and one
for 3D mappers?
Thanks,
