M-Audio Xponent - Expensive, known to work (until the hardware fails ;) Vestax VCI100 - Expensive, should work (mapping still W.I.P?) Mixman DM2 - Really cheap, but also requires some fiddling around with kernel modules etc so might not be your cup of tea. HercMk2 - probably one of the better-understood controllers Others - find something that's a class-compliant USB midi interface, and chances are it can be made to work without too much hassle. However, it'd be nice if we can get to a situation where the ControlMP3 works and isn't a PITA to set up, so since you already have one of those, and other people have it working, it seems a shame not to try a bit longer to get it working with their assistance.
