OK, as I figured, good, thanks. "Infrequently" off by (latency chunk) is tolerable for headphone cueing etc. > Wait, I just googled the M-Audio 2496 and it IS a 4x4 soundcard. Yeah, but the other two outs are S/PIDF only, and I honestly cannot find any inexpensive S/PIDF to analog converters -- I do find dozens of people looking for one though. They seem to come only in larger racked gear sets. I just wanna S/PIDF to RCA or XLR dongle or box! > P.S. Therefore, all N physical outputs must appear to be one soundcard. An ALSA bound collection of cards is apparently fine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Mixxx-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mixxx-devel
