Hi guys,

Today I committed this new library feature we're calling the "Prepare"
view. The end goal is to help streamline the workflow for DJs. When
you add new songs to your library, you might want to sort them into
crates, run the BPM and song analysis on them, and set up cue points.

The Prepare view gives you a track table allowing you to see either
recently added tracks (< 7 days) or all tracks in your library. If you
select tracks in the table, you can click the "Analyze" button to run
the BPM and wave summary generation on them. There is also a list of
your crates at the bottom with a crate image behind them. Dragging
your tracks into these crates puts them there.

Just like Auto DJ, this is intended to offer some new functionality to
users (batch BPM detection) while giving us a base to grow on. Right
now we don't help you set cue points, and the crates view doesn't seem
as useful as I hoped it would be. The Prepare view also has a handful
of bugs like the track table not updating when the BPMs are
calculated, and the crates images being totally squashed and awkward
looking.

Depending on how much energy we have, we can cut the unpolished crate
view or maybe even forget about the whole Prepare view for 1.8. Having
bulk BPM detection is requested a lot though.

What do you guys think? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to
make this better?

Thanks,
Albert
