I would really like this feature. When I first add tracks I add tags to
them in the Comments field so I can search for them later.

One thing I'd like is a way to manually adjust the BPM detection. The
beat lines are often not on the beats themselves, and there needs to be
a way to move them. Also, there needs to be a way to gently tweak the
detected BPM when it's incorrect.

Typing in numbers is no good for these operations, it has to be done
with intuitive inputs. For instance, tweaking BPM detect requires
adjustment of two variables -- beat offset, and BPM itself:
* initiate beat offset mode. this causes the beat lines to become
static, and not move with the waveform. The DJ cues up the track with
vinyl or other control, and listens in the headphones for where the beat
is. When the beat is located, disable beat position mode. The playhead
is now marking a beat, and the beat lines release and start moving with
the track again. (alternately, I guess Beat Offset Mode could just be a
button saying "put the beat here.")
* initiate BPM adjustment mode. In this mode. Pitch Control tweaks
affect only the beat lines, not the waveform. So tweaks can be made to
the bpm in small increments and then DJ can check the track at various
points to make sure it's lining up. (One day, it may become necessary
to have variable BPM support. See "Woody Woodpecker" for an example)

If these modes were done well, it'd be extremely easy to run the BPM
analyzer and then tweak the results as necessary.
