Why not just put object definitions for controls with soft takeover in
a general script, and have all different controller scripts using
these objects? The intentions with the script I'm currently working on
is to make general object definitions to use in other controllers.

Is there a way to implement soft takeover that don't loose connection
to their parameters when knobs and sliders are moved fast. I've done
some testing with my RMX, and fast turns on knobs can make a jump
about 20% of the controller range. Having parameters snap to controls
within this range is not really useful. In case it isn't possible, we
need a possibility to turn soft takeover on and off per control if
implemented in the engine. I put certain controls to soft takeover
mode in by use of a shift button, to make it possible to align them
with Mixxx parameters.
