Hi,
This might seem a touch obvious, but connect the output of the device to a
midi viewer. Experience has shown me that some of those devices are pretty
"nervous" and *continually* send MIDI data, if one of those messages is
going to a "heavy" controller (re-calc filters / time stretch algo) this
might cause the slowdown?
