Thanks, Ryan. I totally understand that AutoDJ wasn't created for my use
case and hence I am myself a little uncomfortable drastically changing the
guts of AutoDJ. I don't want to go against the larger vision which the lead
maintainers have for Mixxx.
That being said, I do want to enahnce Mixxx so that it can suit my
purposes. Right now, 1.11 has everything I need. I really really like the
single click preview feature. The only reason keeping me from using Mixxx
in a live setup is the AutoDJ non-persistent property.
But if you say trying to make AutoDJ behave persistently might be too
drastic, I am okay with Daniel's approach of using a playlist as a source
for AutoDJ with 0 backlogs. We do need to solve the 1.12 bugs first that I
discussed in my earlier email though.
