I think this is the best option for now.
We already maintain backwards / forwards compatibility for the
preferences and library SQLite database so user profiles are
compatible across versions.
If we install to "Mixxx $VERSION" then the user won't see skins or
other resource-path files from previous versions.
And best of all, it's only a few lines of code :).
Ok. I need to check wether it will later be possible for the user to
uninstall each version or if there is another type of "conflict".
