It's true that changing a knob to make it control EQ shold be easy with the
midi learning wizard. So...
Is the following a solution we can all agree?:
1-Skins show 3 or 4 eq knobs based on how many bands the selected EQ has.
2-Each controller will have a default mapping set for 3 or 4 band eq,
according to what makes sense for that controller.
3-Users wanting to adopt a 4-band eq in a controller with a 3-band preset
can use midi learning wizard to change it.
This makes sense if we think that in a future we will have midi presets
with options that can be tweaked from the preferences pane, since mappers
will be able to offer specific solutions to support 4-band eq such as
replacing the gain knob.
