I've heard some good things about the Ground Control coilovers as well... but
I've heard a lot better things about the H&R adjustable
coilovers. Remember, you have coilover suspension right now... the back may
even be adjustable for ride height... they just aren't
threaded. Anyways, I've ridden in a few different setups and the H&R had, by
far the best ride in the A3's... my Rabbit has 'em but
they are a little bit stiff for most people on that car. I can't say that I've
ridden in an A2 with them. If you can't afford the
H&R's, I'm sure the Ground Controls will do. The thing that I'd like to point
out is that you probably will never adjust the
suspension once you get it dialed in... it's a serious pain to do it and unless
you have scales for all four wheels, it's probably
going to be set up incorrectly anyways! There is this cool Mustang tuning book
that had instructions on making levers to drive you
car onto and you can use household scales to balance the suspension out... it
looked pretty easy to do.

Hey everybody, I was looking at the Ground Control web site and saw that
they have setups for A2's. I was wondering if anybody had any experience
with them or had any thoughts about them? I have a friend with them on his
Accord (I'm sorry for mentioning the evil H), and he loves them. GC now uses
Eibach Springs exclusively. The reason I like them is because I would like
to have control over the ride height of my car. Lower for auto-X and a
little higher for the street. The price isn't too bad either at $400.
