Guys, my car is fucking loud! It has an incredible sound to it, but at 180Km/h you can't have a conversation because the engine is roaring.
Are all A2's like this? Today I had to put on ear plugs because I was getting a headache and I'm starting to think its leading me to very slight hearing loss. Even my girlfriend says she can hear me comming from down the street. I think the problem is that when I had my downpipe replaced last march the repair -guy broke one (maybe 2) of the 6 studs that hold the Downpipe in. For those of you who haven't been fortunate enough to see a downpipe it has 2 rows of 3 holes that the studs from the exhaust manafold come from. _____________________ | 0 0 0 | | --- --- | | | | | | | | --- --- | | 0 0 0 | ---------------------- I'm beginning to think the sound is directly contributed to a stud being snapped and thus the seal being broken.... Causing an exhaust leak! The sound comes from the engine bay more then the tail-pipe but it doesnt sound like an exhaust leak, it sounds like a car with an intake. Any Ideas?
