Ok, here's what we've got:

European A2 16V Golf and Jetta (139HP) - All were 1.8L, even '90-92. Euro cam 
and Injection system make for more power.  Injection system was CIS.  Not 
CIS-E, or Motronic or any of that.  Just straight mechanical injection...just 
like a Rabbit.

Corrado 16V (150HP) - 2.0L CIS-E Motronic, much like a late US A2 16V.  Euro 
cam and different timing and ignition curves make for more power. 

European A3 16V Golf and Jetta (150HP) - Digifant(yuck).  Euro cam, different 
intake manifold and single butterfly TB(like a US 2L 8V).  Once again, cam, 
intake manifold, and timing and ignition curves make for more power.
