Steve,
I had a tab welded onto my roll cage to the left
(outside) of the post adjacent to the steering wheel.
That way I could get to it if required. After all, if
I was ti crash chances are good that I would be the
first one on the scene! Also, it keeps it out of the
weather and if something stupid like a rock or debris
hit it only the outside it would not be a god thing.
Obviously you race with the window open (with a net)
so it is still easy for the workers to access. Check
your rules but I don't think it has to be on the
outside. Also make sure you kill the ground side, nit
the hot. If that area came crushed then the hot wire
to ground would put on quite a show.

Subject: Master Kill Switch Info Please
Has anybody installed a master kill switch on your
Golf or Jetta race
cars?
Usually these are placed on the body between the hood
and windshield,
but it
looks like the wiper mechansim is in the way. Any
experience with this
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
