Another wiring Q:

Behind the throttle body, between it and the firewall, there is a
connector.  The wire going in is black and the wire coming out is black.
One side of the connector is brown and one side is sort of a boot and is
black.  The wire then goes into a rubber tube along with two white wires
and goes off under the car.  Is this black wire a ground for the O2 sensor?
 The wire is in really, really bad shape and I'm wondering where it's
supposed to go.
