Well, something weird is going on with that wire.  Just past the brown plug
w/ black boot, some of the rubber coating is stripped off of the wire and
someone has spliced in a piece of wire that goes to a grounded nut on the
firewall.    The TESPO seems to have made a mess of some of my wiring.  

Oh, and ANOTHER question:  there is a flat ground strap attached to one of
the nuts that mounts the coil.  It's about a foot and a half long and it
leads NOWHERE.  It's just hanging there.  Where's it supposed to go?

I'm a little nervous.  My interior light and trunk light weren't working
before I started screwing around today.  I dropped the fuse box out and had
a look behind it.  Lo and behold, there were two connecters (a pair of
black and a pair of red ones)  that weren't connected to anything.  The
black ones seem to have fixed my dome light, but I still dunno what the red
ones did.  Wiring in these cars is bad enough without stupid crap like that
going on.
