Hello all,

well I bought a new airflow plate for my GLI. i purchased it because
my diagnosis showed the air flow plate potentiometer was off. Yes,
perhaps i could have got a seperate one, but time was more important to
me than money. Now, I'm finding that I didn't save that much time.

I've having difficulty adjusting the plate height and the height for
the plunger of the fuel distributor. I believe i set them close to
what the original plate had, but the car runs like crap. i even put
the old plate back on to make sure something else didn't go south. I
only did these measurement with my eyeballs and a metric tape measure.
i'll take my measurement calipers from work and try again tonight. Any
suggestions? Should I adjust one thing then the other, which order?
Am I forgetting anything else?

tanks,
