I bought my 88 GTI with a suspension kit installed. Not sure what make
either the springs or the shocks. It's lowered between 1" -1 1/2". It has
the 14" black BBS wheels and 185 /60's. The tires don't look like the right
size (I think they're too thin). The right rear blew out the other day (real
loud), when I changed it I saw that the brake line was rubbing against the
sidewall and had worn a groove into it, (that's where it blew).
My question is, am I limited to this size because of the suspension kit ? If
not what size should I get ? Brands?
