The armor plates on my car just forced the thieves to put a 2 inch hole in
my door instead of the 1/4 inch hole they would have had the plate not been
there. :(
If you have a '90+ car with the passive belts, and you replace those belts
with the normal style seatbelt, you can use the two wires in the door that
go to the seatbelts to create an ignition cutoff.
As for seats, you could probably put a padlock where the nut is that holds
the seat in the rails. It would mean they'd have to use bolt cutters to
get the seats out rather than just unscrewing that nut.
