I am fortunate to live in an area where most people don't care about A2s let alone stealing them. This is what I would suggest - MOVE. Get a POS for driving to work or better yet a bicycle. There is no way to prevent thieves from getting into your car no matter what it is. What I don't understand is why VW people would steal from VW people. I thought we had a cult thing going or something.
