World's #1 Theft deterrent... RUST

Running a close second is lots o dents...

Duct tape holding things on helps too..

In the winter I have 14" black steel wheels, no
head unit visable, cover off the steering wheel, no
back seats, bottles of coolant and oil in the back
with a 3ton jack and various tools. She has the
'not worth it' look.

wont fly that well - they'll break in to steal the
tools and the jack.....

Balck steel wheel - good deterent - esp if you leave
the "center" caps off.

I have a "club" and use it. I doubt it would prevent a
determined car thief - but it does act as a deterrent
to the casual walk by break in.

I fergot to put the club on one night. There was
NOTHING visible and the head unit face plate was with
me. They still broke in looking for the face plate
becuase the Club was on the foor. I did loose a gym
bag that was in the trunk (covers in place). Now I
keep NOTHING (except the Bently) in the car.

The break in method was the classic "pry in". I have
door plates now - just to cover the hole they left.

The padlock on the seat bolt - great idea!!!

I'd still like to get a Recaro for the driver's
side...
