If they really wanna know what you have, they're gonna find out.  I guess
you could go as far as to use a line level converter in the trunk, so that
there are no RCA's connected to the head unit.  Only problem there is that
with the converter so far away from the head unit you're probably gonna
end up with a really bad ground loop.  Of course all they really need to
do is pop the hood and see that 1/0 guage oxygen free copper monster
cable going through the firewall, and they know for sure. :)  Best bet is
to make it look like there's nothing there to start with.  I've seen a
couple people put their head unit where the ashtray used to be... what
about taking the face off of the ash tray and making a dummy that you
could velcro or stick over it when you get out of the car?  That combined
with speakers in the stock locations, a dummy plate where the stereo used
to be (or some guages)... completely hidden.  I think that would be the
only way.
