It turns out that I need another Aktiv amplifier unit. Anybody close to the Boston area have one of these kicking around? I need one in short order for a long trip this weekend. Otherwise, I'll take one from anywhere :)
I think these came out of early 1990 vw cars with the Aktiv system (says Aktiv on the door speaker panel).
