I would look into delrin for that... it's self-lubricating, and pretty
darn hard.  If you incorporated the short-shift into the kit, I think you
could sell quite a few.  You might want to offer a kit that can use a
short shift that people already have, because quite a few folks have
already done that particular mod... perhaps priced a little closer to
$100, maybe a bit more.  I think most of your buyers would probably people
who are into racing, or street guys who have enough money. :)  As long as
it looks badass in pictures people will buy it.
