I can barely fit my hand between the tire and the fender, I bought the car
with the kit installed (all I know is that the springs are Neuspeed) I think
taking off the spoiler is a good idea. What other precautions are normally
taken for winter in the northeast? I know that the 195/55's are next to
useless in the snow. What snow tires/wheels should I look for? I know it's
early, but the way I put things off, if I start now, I'll probably have a
real nice set of snow tires on by late March.

Yes...but this is the smallest drop.  :)  It's not so low that I can't
live with it, but the front spoiler is coming off this winter.
