Gabriel, It took my friend and I 12 hours to do the swap. This is from pulling the car into the garage until the car was started. It's a big job.
No the 2.0l does not rev as easily. Before you do this swap, you should try to drive a couple of 2 liter's first as you may not like it. I would recc. going to a punched out 1.8l (a 1.9l) which will give you more power plus a nicer rev. If I was going to do my engine again, that is the route I would take. Im wondering has anyone had a shop put this in their cars? Im basically trying to estimate around how much will it cost or what others have paid , so that my shop doesn't try to rip me off... also, how much faster will this make my stock 1.8l? I have heard before that the 2.0l doesn't rev as easily..? thanks Gabriel Varner _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
