Your car has some issues, most other CIS-E 2.0L owners are happy with how their motors rev. PLUS, that's CIS-E! You CANNOT argue in any way that a Motronic injected 2.0L doesn't rev as well as a 1.8. I've owned every configuration of VW 16Vs, and the Motronic 2.0L definitively has the broadest, smoothest powerband of the lot. Come drive my car and you will see. - A 2.0 will spank and re-spank a 1.8 or a 1.9L.
