I can add a little insight on intercoolers. I looked into using a non stock IC on my old GLHT when I planned on converting it to an ICed setup. Biggest problem when running a fair amount of boost on the saab and volvo intercoolers is that they have plastic end tanks which will leak or separate from the cores. The ICs from Talons are decent but they have kind of a weird shape to use as a front mount... they are more thick than flat. The Starion intercoolers are decent, but in the end I decided to go with a Mopar intercooler. Its about the same size as a Starion intercooler, and has metal end tanks. And as a matter of fact I still have it and am looking to sell it. If you want it, its in PERFECT shape and came out of a GLHS (thats Goes Like Hell Somemore), and I guess I would sell it for $75 (i paid $100). Over the weekend I saw a G60 A2 Jetta at the dragstrip here in MI, and I can say that the G60 intercooler looks a lot less effecient than the mopar one. BTW, the best i saw that Jetta run was a 15.6 i think.

Some useless trivia: when dodge was planning the GLH omni, they considered naming it the coyote... because coyotes eat rabbits (get it?). Of course that was before the GLH got a turbo and was still carbed. I am not sure why they used GLH instead.
