Hi,
I have a pulley question. I currently have a 1.8L 8v "RD" engine
without AC and without power steering in my jetta. I bought a 2.0L 16v
"6k" engine for next spring. That engine had AC and power steering. I will
keep the power steering but not the AC. The pulley set up won't work
anymore because the alternator use to be driven by the AC compressor. Maybe
I could use the pulleys from my 1.8L and use a longer strap so it would also
drive the power steering pump aswell. That's if they all align, haven't
checked that yet. Anyone had the same problem that could give me some
hints. Thanks
