Lately my GLI has started to "lope" at idle when up to temp. Idle speed is up to around 1000 or so, and it bumps up and down rhythmically quickly. When I decelerate in a low gear and get around 1500 rpm the car will buck a bit unless I put in the clutch.
All vacuum lines are new in the car, new O2 sensor, knock sensor, throttle switch. I suspect a vacuum leak, but since I replaced all the lines I'm a bit stumped. The air intake boot looks good. I bought some contact cleaner today to clean all the electrical plugs, but I haven't had a chance to get to it. Any other suggestions?
