I run Redline 10-40wt all year round. The 2.0 16v engine seems to run more smoothly and efficient on this versus 15-50 or 20-50 weight in my humble opinion. However, I have noticed that the oil temp runs about six to ten degrees hotter than Redline 20-50wt would, but the gas mileage is a little better and I don't think any harm is coming to the engine as a result. Most Superbike 16v 4cyl. engines run Synthetic 10-40wt.
