OK, I just changed my email address. So just incase someone gets my email from my old address and tries to reply....here is a copy of my last post.
I am currently in seach of a daily driver/winter car (don't want to drive the GLi in the snow). Came across a 92 Passat in pretty good condition except for a broken front turn signal lens. It's a CL 5 speed with 123k on it. Guy is asking 1800 for it but it is on consignment at a deal and has sat for two months so I should be able to deal. Anyone have any pointers on things to check, common problems with these cars or any other info. Plus do you think the price is good? Tryin to talk them down to 1500. Any input would be great.
